"Too many .nii.gz files in each subject's directory" error while reading in participants

Submitted by Lisa_Kr on

Hello,

I am new to DPARSFA and I hope you can help me. I got the following error after specifying my working directory and starting directory (FunImg): "Too many .nii.gz files in each subject's directory, should only keep one 4D .nii.gz file". However, it is only a test run with one subject, so I have one .nii file for this subject in FunImg folder and one .nii.gz file for this subject in the T1Img folder (so one file in each folder in total). What can cause the problem?

Thanks a lot!

Lisa

Error report in DPABI-Image Calculator-“i1.*g1”

Submitted by Lei.Gao on

Dear Prof. Dr. Yan,

I'd be grateful if you could take time to help me. When I mask a group of images (*.nii format) with a binary individual mask (*.nii format) in DPABI → Utilities → Image Calculator (both DPABI_V2.0_151201 and DPABI_V1.3_150710 version), the following error is displayed:

DPABI V2.0 and DPARSF V4.0 are released

Submitted by YAN Chao-Gan on
Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the release of DPABI V2.0 and DPARSF V4.0.

New features of DPABI_V2.0_151201 and DPARSF_V4.0_151201:
1. Compatible with MATLAB 2014b and later versions.
2. Process the data both with and without global signal regression (GSR). Check “Nuisance regressors setting” -> “Both with & without GSR”. Alternatively, you can call DPARSFA_RerunWithGSR.m. E.g., DPARSFA_RerunWithGSR(DPARSFACfg.mat); where DPARSFACfg.mat stores the previous parameters without GSR.
3.

rat fMRI, realign

Submitted by YukiSakai on

Dear DPARSFA experts,

Thank you very much for the powerful tool. I think this toolbox could be applied to rat fMRI data and I have several questions.

*If we realign rat fMRI data (X10 space), the output rp~.txt can be simply interpreted as in unit 'mm' and 'degree' in X10 space? Or do we have to change original spm realign function to get the absolute value of motion paramters?

Scrubbing function

Dear DPARSFA experts,

Thank you very much for the powerful tool. I have several questions.

 1. I cannot find the function to calcurate the FD of Power's method in DPARSFA folder. Where is it and what is the name of function?

 2. I can easily recognize the propotion of excluded frame by HeadMotion.tsv when the threshold is 0.5 or 0.2. In the case of other settings of threshold, how can I get that information?

seed-based FC

Submitted by fish on

Dear Dr.YAN,

I am sorry to ask you a stupid question. Recently I want use the Rest to do seed-based FC, the input parameter contains some subjects(including patients and controls) with nii format, then voxel wise defined the roi, do all, fisher Z. The result only have two images in nii format which named FCMap and zFCMap, I  don't think it can be used for later on two-sample t test. What's the wrong step do I made? And I also would like to know if I ues DPARSFA, is it will be a little difficult?
