What does the "warning" mean when doing detrend with DPABI

Submitted by liq2005liq on
Hi, Chaogan

I'm confused by a "warning" (listed in the following) when I finished smoothing and began to doing detrending with DPARSFA included in DPABI. I wondered whether the results would be influenced accordingly. Would you please give me some advice about it? My matalab is 2013 version.

Individual difference study AND GRF-correction

Submitted by l5583325 on

Hi, everyone!

I am doing a whole-brain seed-based functional connectivity analysis using pre-defined ROI. My aim is to find connectivity which is correlated with a individual difference data.

All of the proprocess and statistic steps were performd by Dpabi.

My results can survivive in GRF-correction (voxel p<0.025, cluster p<0.1, two-tailed, I got this from video course). However, previous papers usually use this method for group difference dectection (Z>2.3, cluster p<0.05).

Therefore, I have two questions here:

Problem with using DPARSF A

Submitted by jnomi on

Dear Experts,

I am trying to use the DPARSF toolbox to do nuisance regression (WM, CSF, rigid-body 6) and filtering (bandpass .01 - .08) and cannot get the program to work.  I have added subfolders for SPM8 and dpabi V1.1/DPARSF V3.0 in MATLAB 2014a.  When I try to use the "blank template" for these two functions, I get the error:

How to answer the reviewer's comments about movement

Submitted by Henry on

Hi Guys,

I used the DPARSF to process the data. Now, a reviewer commented on my manuscript as following:

"There has been no control for movement-related artifacts, which are now considered essential to control for in resting-state analysis. Movement parameters are not reported or compared across subjects. Censoring movement frames is strongly recommended at an FD 0.5 or lower level (Power, 2012; Van Dijk, 2011). "
